The
Alliance Française de Penang, participating in the Georgetown Festival,
is glad to invite you to the opening exhibition of "Photography
of Penang", by Halim Berbar. He is a famous French
photographer, war reporter, and journalist. He has been living in Asia
for twenty years. He co-wrote a book about Penang, Penang Heritage House
and he will be in Alliance Française to sign the book. A selection
of twenty photography of Penang will be shown from 17-31 July 2010.
A cocktail will be served for the opening ceremony.

FDLM 2010 is coming back to Penang. Organised this year at the Fort Cornwallis
on Sunday June 20th, we are only waiting for you to apply and perform
on stage.Come and join us from 4pm to 12pm!
We
are looking for bands, singers who can sing or dance. We are providing
the stage and basic instruments and doing all the promotion of this event
that has been organised in Penang for a few years.
